- Yamaha golf cars have been an integral part of our club since 1985. We run the gas version of the car because of the limited staff and budget here at the club and have been extremely pleased with the performance of the new 2008 cars. Yamaha's service after the sale is second to none and truly sets them apart from the competition. We tried a competitor's car for a couple of years back around 2001. After that experience, we could not wait to get back to the Yamaha cars for the great reliability that we have come to expect from them.
